1. How to delete your data
In the Bordr app: Profile → Data → Delete profile and all data. This permanently deletes your Bordr account and everything stored with it. It cannot be undone, so export your trips first if you want to keep them.
If you can't open the app, write to us through the support form or at support@bordr.app from the email on your account and ask us to delete it. We do it within 30 days and confirm by email.
2. What we delete
- Your Bordr account: email, name, password hash and Sign in with Apple link.
- Everything synced to it: trips and stays, stay limits, clocks, currencies, wallet accounts and transactions, passport country, avatar, last known location, settings and widget order.
- All signed-in sessions on every device and in the web app.
- Local data on the device where you confirm deletion.
Our database backups are kept for 14 days, so deleted data is gone from them within 14 days.
3. What stays, and why
- Your subscription. Bordr Pro is billed by Apple. Deleting your account doesn't cancel it — cancel in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. We keep the purchase record (without your account) as long as needed for refunds and accounting.
- Support conversations are kept up to 2 years after the last message; ask us and we delete them sooner.
- Analytics are not linked to your account, so there is nothing personal to delete there.
- Ad measurement data that Meta, X or Reddit received with your consent follows their policies; you can ask them to delete it.
- Apple keeps Sign in with Apple and App Store records under its own policies; you can stop using Sign in with Apple with Bordr in iOS Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple.
- Backups on your own devices (iCloud device backups, computer backups) are under your control.
4. After deletion
You can keep using Bordr on your device without an account, and restore Bordr Pro through your Apple ID. A new account later starts empty; old data can't be restored.
