Agreement
These Terms govern your use of Bordr — the iOS app, the web app and the website at bordr.app ("Bordr", "we", "us"). By using Bordr you agree to them. If you use the iOS app, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; if the two conflict, these Terms apply to the extent the law allows.
What Bordr is
Bordr helps you record trips and stays, keep an eye on stay limits, check entry rules for your passport, keep world clocks, convert currencies, track spending in a travel wallet and explore a guide to countries and cities. Features may change as we improve the service.
Not legal or immigration advice
Bordr is a tracking tool, not a lawyer, immigration adviser or government source. Visa rules, stay limits and entry conditions change and can be wrong or incomplete in Bordr. Day counts depend on the dates you enter or that location detects. Always confirm important decisions with official sources or a qualified professional before you travel.
Your account
An account is optional in the iOS app and required for the web app. Keep your sign-in details safe; you are responsible for activity on your account. You must give a real email address you can access. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or break these Terms.
Bordr Pro
- Plans. Bordr Pro is an auto-renewable subscription, billed yearly or monthly, bought in the iOS app through Apple's App Store. Prices are shown in the App before you buy and may differ by country.
- Free trial. If a free trial is offered and you are eligible, the App shows its length before you subscribe. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it turns into a paid subscription and your Apple ID is charged.
- Renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
- Cancel and manage. Cancel any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or in Bordr under Profile → Manage subscription. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the App or your Bordr account does not cancel the subscription.
- Refunds. Payments and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms; you can ask Apple for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Web access. One subscription unlocks Pro on all your devices and in the web app when you sign in with the same Bordr account. The web app is available to Pro subscribers; we do not sell subscriptions on the web.
Your content
You keep ownership of the trips, notes and other data you enter. You give us a limited licence to store, process and sync it only to provide Bordr to you. You can export it and delete it at any time (see the Privacy Policy and the data deletion policy).
Acceptable use
Don't misuse Bordr: don't try to break into accounts or our servers, get around the paywall, scrape or overload the service or the third-party services it uses, send spam through the support form, or use Bordr for anything unlawful.
Third-party services
Weather, currency rates, photos, payments and sign-in come from third parties such as Open-Meteo, Open Exchange Rates and Apple. We don't control their availability or accuracy, and their own terms apply.
Disclaimer
Bordr is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including about the accuracy of day counts, visa and entry information, weather, exchange rates or guide content. Some places don't allow these exclusions, so they may not all apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, missed travel, fines, overstays or immigration outcomes arising from your use of Bordr. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Bordr Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending use
You can stop using Bordr and delete your account at any time. We may stop offering Bordr or a feature; if we end a paid feature during a period you paid for, the App Store refund rules apply.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will change the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the App. If you keep using Bordr after a change, the new Terms apply.
