What it means in practice

90 days is about three months. If you arrive on 1 November 2026, your last legal day is 29 January 2027, because the arrival day is day one. Use the stay calculator for your own dates.

How Grenada counts your stay: The permitted stay is set on entry and stamped in the passport. Overstaying or working without a work permit is illegal.

Before you go

Official details are shown in English.

  • Grenada Online Immigration and Customs Form (E/D card) — Within 72 hours before arrival; Free on the official website. Required for travellers arriving in Grenada; it replaces the paper forms. You need flight details, your passport, a PNG or JPEG photo of the passport data page and a valid e-mail address. Immigration and customs receipts arrive by e-mail: save them on your phone or print them and show them on arrival. Official site

At the border

Official details are shown in English.

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival
  • Return or onward ticket and proof of sufficient funds may be requested
  • E/D card receipts (immigration and customs), on your phone or printed
  • Make sure the officer stamps your passport; without a stamp you can be treated as an illegal visitor
  • Yellow fever certificate if arriving from, or transiting through, a country with yellow fever risk
  • Declare goods that may be prohibited or subject to duty

How to avoid overstaying

  • Go by your stamp or visa. The date the officer gives you is the one that counts, even if it is shorter than the maximum.
  • Plan to leave a day or two early. With 90 days, book your exit before the last legal day so a cancelled flight doesn't push you over.
  • Extend before you run out. To stay longer, get authorisation from the Immigration and Passport Department in St. George's before your permitted stay ends.
  • What overstaying costs. Overstaying or working without a work permit is illegal.
